InVitroNutrition media

InVitroNutrition™ media

We are pleased to announce the launch of a unique set of chemically defined, protein- and peptide-free culture media for human cells.

Our newly designed nutrient-enriched InVitroNutrition media include several metabolites not present in classic culture media such as Dulbecco’s modified Eagle’s medium (DMEM) and RPMI 1640. Furthermore, the concentration of amino acids and their derivatives, non-proteinogenic amino acids, inorganic salts, trace elements, vitamins and other components is reduced and/or adapted to their respective physiological levels in human plasma.

The newly developed physiological media can be customized at will, thus enabling the fine-tuning of cell function and metabolism, as they are primarily designed to facilitate the study of the nutritional demands of cells in culture.

InVitroNutrition media present the following features

  • Exclusively made of non-animal derived small molecules characterised by their CAS- and EINECS registry numbers
  • Totally free of hormones, proteins, peptides, complex additives such as albumin, hydrolysates and extracts of any kind
  • Preliminary studies indicate that InVitroNutrition media can be used for both proliferation and differentiation of bone marrow-derived stem cells – (BMSCs)
